From the start, I found Renoviso to be a very efficient and professional operation. I can now add "responsible" to that comment. When my Andersen sliding glass patio door was originally installed, I noticed that it opened in the wrong direction. I was immediately assured by Frank that this would be corrected. There was never a moment's hesitation for me that this situation wasn't going to be resolved to my satisfaction. For this reason, I was able to be very patient for the additional seven weeks it took to re-manufacture the doors and set up a second installation appointment. I always felt like a respected, valued customer even though this job was now a problem for the Company, especially financially. My new "new" doors were installed yesterday. Marty, the installer, did this second installation as well. He is a very skilled craftsman; I would even say, perfectionist. I am very happy with my new doors in appearance, pricewise and, especially, with my experience with Renoviso.

This is a review for both this window project and the other roof/deck project that we did with Renoviso. When I was looking for a GC to handle my roof, back deck, and windows, I hoped for a single point of contact, easy and clear communication, and oversight over the subcontractors. That is what I am basing my review on - I am not basing my review on the quality of the work, which once completed, was very good. Point of contact/Communication: I received so many automated emails from Renoviso. It was very difficult to keep track of which of the 40 (yes 40!) email threads contained the info I was searching for at any given time. I explained clearly at the onset how the project fees were to be split across two cards. I think I explained it to Rob, Corey, and Sara. Finally Sara and I figured it out and the charges were split correctly. But why did I have to explain it so many times? I felt like I was bounced around from person to person at Renoviso and I had to fill in a couple blanks for each person each time. I spoke to Brian who sold me the project, then I could never get him on the phone ever again even when I had concerns about how things were going. Sometimes a customer needs to hear directly from the owner to ease their mind; so when I couldn't get Brian on the phone, I simply got the impression that I was either being too needy or my job was too small. Corey tried to coordinate but he did not really have a grasp of what was going on around scheduling. He was also not aware of both projects. Several versions of the docusign were sent over to me with errors or words missing. Rob made an effort to communicate with me which I very much appreciated. Oversight: Well, Levy was a disaster: 1. His team did not clean up properly (Rob had to come and clean up himself) 2. I specified an 8" roof vent for my range hood; Levy decided to install a 4" one. When I called it out, he sent a guy back to install an 8" vent, which strangely measures 7". I made do with it. 3. He lied to Rob about having completed a site walk through and clean up. Then he had the nerve to call me back and ask if there is anything he could do to help. Of course not, I don't want dishonest people on my property. 4. His carpenters, for the back deck, installed the T1-11 wrong and Rob had to spend all day cutting it back and re-installing the trim. Oh yes, Levy assured me it was correct the first time. Also, Levy was bouncing from site to site and the workers didn't speak English. I did not get the feeling that Levy was at all invested in his team doing a proper job. I stress that if I was a clueless homeowner much of this never would have come to light. This guy is a true hack job and it was very stressful dealing with him. The window installers were much better, very professional. They did have to come back because the blinds would no longer fit, and they fixed the problem. No complaints about them. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the work. I am completely unsatisfied about the quality of the communication from most of Renoviso (I do want to exempt Rob from most of this, he truly made an effort, spent an entire day here fixing Levy's mistakes, and seemed the most invested in our project by far) and for the (lack of) oversight of Levy and his subcontractors. Since communication and oversight are the reasons I hired a GC, and I got very little of either, I hope that explains my poor rating.

The window job was quick and perfect, the siding was good, but had some room for improvement. Things like better cleanup and communicating to the electrician where parts were would have made finish easier. Overall though we are extremely happy with the job.
