Benefits: Double Hung Windows

For a timeless look, choose the Double Hung, which is our most popular window style and are preferred by many homeowners because they are so easy to clean and have a classic look. Here’s what makes this style so popular:

Easy cleaning. Double hung windows tilt in/out for easy cleaning from the comfort of your own home. Both sashes on slide up and down vertically and tilt in for easy access.

Energy Efficiency. Simonton double hung windows come equipped with energy-efficient properties (and feel free to upgrade your custom window to feature even more energy benefits) Argon gas and low-e coating, not to mention a tighter seal, will have your energy bills dropping immediately.

Airflow & Noise. Most double hung windows will be installed with a screen, allowing you to leave the window open for improved airflow in each room, while keep bugs and nature outside. Simonton windows also are highly rated for noise, meaning the outdoor traffic and overhead planes won’t disturb your sleep.

Low-maintenance. Vinyl double hung windows require little to no cleaning. Plus, Simonton 5500 windows have grids between the glass, so daily dusting is no longer needed.

Versatility. Customize your entire window on Renoviso - from color to hardware to size. The choice is yours, and building your dream Simonton window is a cinch.
